FAQs
I am new to Tarot. How do I know what to ask?
The best way to start is by opening your mind. You can ask about anything: specific or broad. Before we begin our reading, we will discuss your intentions and expectations from the reading. What do you want to know? Why do you want to know it? Beginning your question with the word “What” or “How”, as in: “What do I need to know about my relationship?” or “How can I expect my presentation at work to go over?” is most helpful. The tarot works best when loose questions are asked, rather than questions that lead to binary outcomes (yes/no questions). The cards are complex, just like us human beings. Certain readings have the question built in, so read through the descriptions when booking your session.
How much does a reading cost?
The unique experience that lunaveritae offers is truly tailor made to each individual, and the cost of each reading is no different. Base prices are determined by the complexity of your reading on a sliding scale starting at $65 per spread. In order to offer the best possible experience to all my clients, I put a great deal of time and energy into each reading, even after our virtual time together ends. If you choose to add-on a beverage pairing, a piece of original art, or a ritual to your reading, you can find additional prices in the booking section. Holding space for you in your questioning is my top priority, and for this reason, add-on pricing and base prices are non-negotiable.
How can I pay?
I use Square to accept payment, and full base payment is required at the time of booking.
If you feel compelled to make an additional donation on top of your base total, I can accept gratuities electronically through my personal Zelle, CashApp, PayPal, or Venmo. If you prefer to pay in cash, or would like to discuss a reading for trade, please use the contact link to send me a message.
How long does a reading take?
Times listed on the booking page are listed as guidelines. Each spread and question will require a different amount of time to unpack, so I encourage you to set aside at least an hour for your virtual reading. Shorter spreads with less cards may take less time, but the hour mark gives us the luxury of space to explore. After our call is over, I will spend a few more hours meditating on your reading, writing your personal overview, creating your playlist, and creating any add-ons you may have chosen.
Do you offer discounts or gifts?
I built my base pricing to be accessible to the masses, and as such I do not offer discounts. That said, I am honored to offer free first readings, pay-what-you-can, or trade-based options for QTBIPOC clients.
